You’re not alone….

You are not alone. We all have our problems. – To lose sleep worrying about a friend. To have trouble picking yourself up after someone lets you down. To feel like less because someone didn’t love you enough to stay. To be afraid to try something new for fear you’ll fail. None of this means you’re dysfunctional or crazy. It just means you’re human, and that you need a little time to right yourself. You are not alone. No matter how embarrassed or pathetic you feel about your own situation, there are others out there experiencing the same emotions. But keep a positive attitude you’re not alone.

How about tomorrow?

What you don’t start today, won’t be finished by tomorrow. – There are seven days in the week and someday isn’t one of them. Ask yourself if what you’re doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow. Where do you want to be tomorrow? Start sowing the seeds today.

Today was what you wanted yesterday. Today was last year future. Today was your tomorrow when you were living in your yesterday. Since we can’t stop tomorrow from happening, then lets start planning our  tomorrow today. Please make it big by the seed you’re sowing. Make it a big plan.

Promote what you love.

What you focus on grows. – Do not let the negativity wear off on you. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Promote what you love instead of discrediting what you dislike. When you choose to focus on the things you love, you end up finding more joy and more love in life.

It’s our choice with people (i).

There are right people, and wrong people, for YOU. – There are fake people, and those who are true friends. There are people who take the heart out of you, and those who put it back. You have a choice of who to spend time with. True friends have an honest heart, and will go out of their way to help you when you need it most. Stick with the people who never let you down and keep their promises. You can’t fake that.

Why worry?

worry

I enjoyed the academic work of Mark Twain more than most authors for various reasons associated with his depth of expression. The tour bus in 2012 I took in San Francisco, California stirred my interest about this great writer and his work. One remarkable work of his pointed to worry. He was attributed with these words, “I have worried about a lot of things in life, and the most of them never happened.” Isn’t that true of our lives? Most times we get worried over things that will never happened. Worry has been quoted to take away today’s blessing and rob us of tomorrows peace.

Staying calm in total peace knowing very well this present storm will pass like others is the hallmark of a great champion.  Let’s relax and know that worry doesn’t help.

Give up something

Give up thinking that everyone else has it so much easier than you. – When times get really tough, remember this simple truth: Nothing that’s worthwhile is ever easy. And when you’re struggling with something that’s important to you, and you feel like your life isn’t fair, look at all the people around you and realize that every single person you see is struggling with something, and to them, it’s just as hard as what you’re going through.

No time for negativity

Give up getting caught up in the negativity surrounding you. – To be positive in negative times is not just foolish optimism. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of tragedy, but also of success, sacrifice, courage, kindness, and growth. What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine how well we live. If we look only for the worst, it destroys our capacity to do our best work. If we remember those times and places – and there are many – in which people have behaved magnificently, and things have gone well, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning world in a different direction. And if we do act, in however small a way, we don’t have to sit around and wait for some grandiose and perfect future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live right now as we think we should live, in defiance of all the negativity around us, is in itself an amazing victory.

My Path

Give up wanting to be where others are in life. – Stop comparing where you’re at with where everybody else is. It doesn’t move you farther ahead, improve your situation, or help you find happiness. It just fuels feelings of inadequacy and shame, and ultimately keeps you stuck. The truth is, there is no one correct path in life. A path that’s right for someone else won’t necessarily be a path that’s right for you. And that’s OK. Your journey isn’t right or wrong, or good or bad – it’s just different. Your life isn’t meant to look exactly like anyone else’s because you aren’t exactly like anyone else. You’re a person all your own with a unique set of goals, obstacles, dreams, and needs. So stop comparing and start living. You may not always end up where you intend to go, but you will eventually arrive precisely where you need to be. Trust that you are in the right place at the right time, right now. And trust yourself to make the best of it.

I can find my way home.

Homing pigeons use atmospheric conditions such as odor and wind to construct the mental “map” they rely on to find their way home. According to a new published study, other research has been performed with the intention of discovering how pigeons, after being transported, can find their way back from distant places they have never visited before.

There is something remarkable about this pigeon that reminds me about the beauty of man. We are far more important than birds, yet we leave our intrinsic values untapped.

When I think about the valuable function of this bird I think about the importance of man. Man has immeasurable gifts and talents that has been left untapped for years. It is time to use your gifts. Do not settle for less. Make a life, not a living.
