Time to let go……(2)

You catch yourself obsessing over, and living in, the past. – Eventually you will overcome the heartache, and forget the reasons you cried, and who caused the pain.  Eventually you will realize that the secret to happiness and freedom is not about control or revenge, but in letting things unfold naturally, and learning from your experiences over the course of time.  After all, what matters most is not the first, but the final chapter of your life, which unveils the details of how well you wrote your story.  So let go of the past, set yourself free, and open your mind to the possibility of better relationships and experiences on the road ahead.

Time to let go…….

You truly dislike your current situation, routine, job, etc. – It’s better to be a failure at something you love than to succeed at doing something you hate.  Don’t let someone who gave up on their dreams talk you out of going after yours.  The best thing you can do in life is follow your heart.  Take risks.  Don’t just make the safe and easy choices because you’re afraid of what might happen.  If you do, nothing will ever happen.  Chances must be taken, mistakes must be made, and lessons must be learned.  It might be an uphill climb, but when you reach that mountaintop it will be worth every ounce of blood, sweat and tears you put into it.

How you feel when you’re stressed is not a true measure of reality. – Just because you’re afraid, doesn’t mean you’re in danger.  Just because you feel alone, doesn’t mean nobody loves you.  Just because you think you might fail, doesn’t mean you will.  Look beyond your doubts and keep searching for the truth.  Despite the struggles that you might be facing, never give up on yourself.  You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and twice as capable as you have ever imagined.

What you need to do won’t be easy, but it will be worth it in the end. – It takes a great deal of courage to admit that something needs to change, and a lot more courage still, to accept the responsibility for making the change happen.  Growth and change may be painful sometimes, but nothing in life is as painful as staying stuck where you don’t belong.  Remember, achieving anything worthwhile in life takes effort.  So start every morning ready to run farther than you did yesterday and fight harder than you ever have before.  Above all, make sure you properly align your efforts with your goals.  It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it in the end.

You are not what happened to you in the past. – No matter how chaotic the past has been, the future is a clean, fresh, wide open slate. You are not your past habits. You are not your past failures. You are not how others have at one time treated you. You are only who you think you are right now in this moment. You are only what you do right now in this moment.

I want to talk about Swimmo in relation to our lives. I’m not yet a good swimmer, but I’m currently working on it. I found a new smartwatch called Swimmo which aims to give swimmers full attention by doing everything a smartwatch should do while acting as a swimming coach. Swimmo CEO, Mateusz Heleniak said. ‘We decided to change that with Swimmo, a smartwatch that overcomes all the challenges of using a wearable device underwater’. Swimmo focuses on developing the strength and power of muscles through customized training. Swimmo is capable of distance tracking, recognizing which calories were burned, speed tracking, monitoring heart rate, and timing swimmers in the water. This smartwatch does not require a constant connection to an Android phone; therefore, use it freely in the water and the data will sync later on when devices are nearby. Swimmo is the ideal tool for professional athletes, tri-athletes or anyone who is trying to improve their strength get in shape through swimming.

Being a ‘work in progress’ is a great state to be in. – Stop berating yourself for being a work in progress.  Start embracing it!  Because being a work in progress doesn’t mean you’re not good enough today; it means you want a better tomorrow, and you wish to love yourself completely, so you can live your life fully.  It means you’re determined to heal your heart, expand your mind and cultivate the gifts you know you’re meant to share.  May we all be works in progress forever, and celebrate the fact  we are who we are.

Do real men cry?

Contrary to long held traditional view that real men don’t cry.

Real men cry.

You are not who you used to be, and that’s OK. You’ve been hurt; you’ve gone through numerous ups and downs, it has made you who you are today. Over the years, so many things have happened – things that have changed your perspective, taught you lessons, and forced your spirit to grow. As time passes, nobody stays the same, but some people will still tell you that you have changed. Respond to them by saying, “Of course I’ve changed. That’s what life is all about. But I’m still the same person, just a little stronger now than I ever was before.”

Growing happily

He said years later after becoming president “my years in the presidency has helped me grow. President Obama statement captures what we’ve silently longed for – “growth. ” Happiness comes with growth. Do not educate yourself to be rich alone, educate yourself to grow happy. That way when you grow older you’ll know the value of things, not the price. In the end, you will come to realize that the best days are the days when you don’t need anything extreme or special to happen to make you smile. You simply appreciate the moments and feel gratitude, seeking nothing else, nothing more. That is what true happiness is all about. You grow into your own happiness like a plant in the midst of what prevents growth. Time to stimulate your own growth.
