When you compare the cross and his overwhelming forgiveness for humanity, you try to imagine what he has done for us and through us. It is about God’s forgiveness we can say we have been forgiven. The cross represents his victory and forgiveness to us as humans.
Luke 5:24: But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.”
His forgiveness is an uncanny, undeniable, crazy, radical, passionate and unwavering sign of love that he has shown, it is something that deserves our attention every day of the week.
